Cycling Water Bottles

The first stainless steel bidon with a flow rate designed for cyclists. Faster than a squeeze, quiet in the cage, and it tastes like water every single ride.

Empties faster than you can squeeze

You can't squeeze steel. So we made the bottle work without it.

Our patented nozzle was developed with an ex-NASA engineer to move water using gravity alone. An internal straw manages the air and water exchange, so the flow starts the instant you tilt. A full 621ml Bivo empties in 8.5 seconds, which is quicker than most plastic bidons of the same size.

No squeezing means no hand fatigue on long rides, no wrestling a bottle one handed in a bunch, and no half mouthful when you need a full one.

The bidon, reconsidered

The original cycling bidon was metal, sealed with a cork. Then plastic arrived and we all accepted the trade: easy flow, but a bottle that tastes of last summer and goes cloudy by autumn.

Bivo brings the bidon back to steel without giving up the flow. High grade recyclable stainless steel, food grade silicone components, and modular parts that come apart in seconds for a proper clean. No mould in the valve. No plastic edge on the water.

BPA, BPS, BPF and phthalate free. 100% lead free.

Quiet in the cage, secure in the hand

Coloured bottles get a silicone anti-slip exterior. It grips when your hands are wet, and it kills the rattle over rough tarmac and cattle grids so you can hear the ride instead of your bottle.

Universal cage fit, so they drop into the cages already on your bike. If you prefer bare metal, the raw stainless finish is there too.

Bivo One stainless steel performance cycling bottle in bike cage with tactile exterior to reduce noise and create exceptional grip. Clean taste. High flow. Dishwasher safe.

Riding somewhere specific?

Off road riders and indoor trainers have their own demands. We've covered both.

Cycling water bottle FAQs

Will a stainless steel bottle fit my bike cage?

Yes. All Bivo bottles are built to a universal cage fit and drop into standard cages without modification.

Are steel cycling bottles too heavy?

Our lightest is 158g empty, roughly 60g more than a typical plastic bidon. On a bike that difference disappears, and you get a bottle that lasts seasons rather than months.

Can you drink from a Bivo one handed while riding?

Yes. Pop the nozzle with your teeth, tilt, and gravity does the rest. There's no squeeze to coordinate, which makes it easier one handed than a plastic bidon.

Do they leak in a cage?

The nozzle seals closed when shut. For rough surfaces or a full bike bag, the Dirt Cap adds a second seal over the top.

Will it dent if I drop it?

Steel takes knocks that would split plastic. A hard drop on tarmac can mark the finish, which is why the raw stainless version wears its scratches well.

Are they dishwasher safe, and how do I clean one?

Every part separates, so nothing is trapped behind a sealed valve. Rinse after each ride and strip it down fully every few weeks.
