Stainless steel bottles for school, training and match day. Nothing nasty in them, every part comes apart for cleaning, and they last a lot longer than a term.

For primary school age, the 500ml Trio Mini is usually the easiest to hold and carry. From secondary age, the 621ml Trio or 740ml Duo suit longer days and full training sessions.
The Trio Mini is 240g empty and around 740g full, so it's heavier than a thin plastic bottle. Most children manage it comfortably from around primary school age, and the single wall One is lighter still at 158g if weight is the main concern.
The nozzle seals shut when closed. For extra security in a packed bag, the Dirt Cap fits over the top as a second seal.
Take it apart. Every component of a Bivo separates including the nozzle, so there are no sealed straws or valves where residue collects. Rinse daily and strip it fully once a week.
Yes. Stainless steel won't stain or hold the smell, though a full strip down after anything sugary is a good habit.
